Just across the road from Picardy Place, the birthplace of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (where you’ll also find an impressive statue of Sherlock Homes) the pub is a veritable shrine to the author and his most famous creation. A place to ponder your two-packets-of-crisps problems.
The pub provides a wealth of information about Conan Doyle and Sherlock Holmes, as well as the surrounding area. Inside, there is paraphernalia celebrating Sherlock Holmes and the detective trade as well as a large portrait of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
