It seemed as if the rock and castle assumed a new aspect every time I looked at them; and Arthurs Seat was perfect witchcraft. I don't wonder that anyone residing in Edinburgh should write poetically.

The Leith Festival is back. The annual community arts festival is offering a 10 day programme from the 8th to the 17th June, with 168 exciting events happening in 38 venues throughout Leith.

The Drawer Boy by Michael Healey

Leitheatre presents the award winning Canadian play about a hapless young actor who comes to sample life on a Canadian farm run by two war veterans, one of whom has severe memory loss due to an injury. This comedy turns to pathos as the truth is eventually revealed.
