The Lost World Read 2009

The Lost Book was a collaborative adventure in storytelling that aimed to encourage people to read, watch and tell stories.

It was inspired by The Lost World Read and centred on an animated web series following the adventures of investigative journalist Aileen and her dog Watson as they solved the crime of a stolen book. The six-part story was written by visitors to the website between January and July 2009 – anyone at all, of any age, anywhere in the world could join in. You can see the whole animation here.

The Lost Book was created by Edinburgh animation company Binary Fable, with each animated sequence featuring new music from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, and was nominated for a  2009 Scottish BAFTA in the Interactive catagory.
