Children & Education Programme Director

Imagine the best festival of writing for children and young people in the world. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on the internationally acclaimed RBS Children’s and Schools Programmes and education strategy at the world’s largest and most dynamic Book Festival. Extensive experience of children’s publishing and live literature, a broad knowledge of the education sector and proven strategic and project management skills will all be required.

Salary Circa £29,000 + pension

Marketing Officer

Programme Assistant

Supporting the Children and Education Programme Director, and the wider programme team, this is a diverse, challenging and developmental role – crucial to making the world’s largest Book Festival happen. You will provide creative and administrative input, from reviewing books and programming events to administering event requirements and fees. Excellent communication skills, a flair for administration and project management, and an interest in writing for children and young people are vital for this exciting and rewarding post.

Salary circa £17,000 + pension
