Edinburgh will be hosting the very first UK festival dedicated to magazines!

MagFest will take over Our Dynamic Earth for a weekend as they aim to promote Scottish publishing and get a new generation of writers, editors and designers interested in everything Mag-related.

The festival will offer workshops, from hands-on design master classes to advice on how to get published. Each workshop will feature guest speakers from the industry, offering help and advice to those who are looking to get into the world of magazines.

Along with this there will be a day-long exhibition of 40 national and international magazines specially curated for the festival and an Industry day, with discussions and debates from key figures in the publishing world.
