Complete guide to
Story Shop 2016
13-29 August 2016
Every day during the Edinburgh International Book Festival, a new and upcoming local writer takes the stage at the Spiegeltent to give a reading of (typically) one or more short stories.
These popular Story Shop performances are now held for the tenth consecutive year, are roughly 10 minutes long, and are free and unticketed.
Please note that the starting time has changed: Story Shop now starts at 3pm sharp.
Story Shop performances will be streamed live online, so if you can’t make it to the Spiegeltent, you can still get a front-row seat. Install the Periscope app and keep an eye on the #storyshop twitter stream for broadcast anouncements during the festival to get your virtual front row seat.
After a performance is finished, the stories which are read will appear on each Story Shopper’s page. Overnight we’ll add the video.
