'City of Words: Writers, Readers and Critics in Edinburgh'

The University of Edinburgh Visitor Centre marks the English Literature Department’s 250th anniversary with an exhibition that runs throughout the summer. As well as a facsimiles of some of the attractions coming to the exhibition held in the Main Library in August, you can see the City of Edinburgh’s UNESCO medal and the Storytelling Puppets of Sylvia Troon, and other exhibits that celebrate the history of a department in a remarkable city.
