At a time when independence is in the minds of many here in Scotland, NLS looks at the pursuit of liberty in Revolutionary America. With manuscripts dating from the War of Independence to the 1830s and printed material from the 1750s to the present day, this summer's treasures display afford extraordinary insights into the Founding Fathers and early presidents.
