Information
A live performance of Patsy Dyer’s story to mark the opening night of the related exhibition. In 2006, Patsy was commissioned to write a ‘Tale for Telling’ for the Oxford International Women’s Festival. St Philbert and the Devil is a story of magic set in Elizabethan Oxfordshire and was inspired by John Clare’s poem The Nutters, recalling forgotten members of the British rural community who were collectors of wild nuts, especially hazelnuts.
