Robert Burns: A Life in Words and Song

A celebration of the man who was the poet of the country - perhaps of mankind. Writer/raconteur Allan Foster brings to life the immortal bard’s story in one of Edinburgh’s oldest and most atmospheric taverns. Allan is joined in Captain's Bar by Scottish folk legend Andy Chung or the delightful singer Elizabeth Merritt.  Andy or Elizabeth will perform our favourite Burns songs in a captivating hour of Burns.
