Edinburgh City of Literature Trust is celebrating the city’s long-term love affair with literature with a visit from international filmmaker Terry Gilliam.

Gilliam will unveil a 10-metre long illuminated quotation inspired by Miguel de Cervantes’ Don Quixote on Jeffrey Street to highlight his love for this classic book.

Timed to coincide with Valentine’s Day and the 400th anniversary of Cervantes’ death, the illuminated art installation will be visible for 28 days and will celebrate Edinburgh’s inspiring books, words and ideas.
